Kitchen Area:
Full size fridge, portable induction hotplate (not seen in the pics because it was stored in the cabinets), microwave, utensils, silverware, dining ware, coffee maker (works with ground coffee, no paper filters needed), electric kettle, toaster, etc.
-Note: We do not provide: Salt, pepper, coffee, condiments and spices.
Amenities:
Two smart TVs, desk, dining table, soft lighting, high speed internet for work video conferences, streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Disney plus.
-Note: We do not provide TV cable service.
Home Essentials:
Mini-split Heating/AC unit, washer/dryer, clothes steamer, towels/linens, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries (Body wash, shampoo, conditioner), toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, hand soap, kitchen towels.
-Note: We do not provide laundry detergent
Parking:
Street Parking. Contact us if you have 2 cars.
Security:
Three (3) security cameras around the perimeter of the house. 1 in the Front, 1 in the driveway, 1 in the hallway.
The Neighborhood
Arlington has plenty of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Start with exploring Mass Ave, lined with shops, bakeries (Roasted Granola, Butternut, Tatte), Coffee Shops (Roasted Granola, Cafe Nero, Starbucks) or restaurants (Toraya, Sticky Rice, La Victoria, Thrive Juice, Punjab, WooRi Korean, etc). Visit the historic Arlington Reservoir or take a picnic at Robbins Farm Park.
For Kids, the closest playground/parks McClennen Park, Arlington Reservoir beach, Hibbert Playground or Florence Playground. Don't miss out visiting Robbins or Fox library, full of toys, kids books, kids activities, etc. The closest Grocery shop is “Trader Joe’s”, “Stop and Shop” or “Maruichi Japanese”, 10 min away walking/ 2 min driving. Closest pharmacy is Wallgreens, at walking distance.
Getting Around
Bus 77: Comes every 10 min and takes you to Cambridge in 20 min and Harvard Square in 25 min aprox.
Subway (Red Line):
Alewife Station is 9 min away by car, Porter Station is 20 min away by bus.
Both stations take you to Boston downtown, or MIT in 30 minutes aprox.
Best way to commute to Boston for a family? Park your car in Alewife station and take the subway.
Drive/Uber:
15 min: Cambridge, Harvard, Somerville
20-25 min: MIT, Boston Downtown, Brookline, TD Garden, etc
40 min: Salem
Biking/Jogging/Walking:
The Minuteman Bikeway is very close by and it is a fantastic path for cycling, walking or jogging. It’s flat, scenic and historical. Start at Alewife Station in Cambridge and make your way to Bedford, passing through Arlington and Lexington along the way. Pack some snacks and enjoy the ride!

House Rules Guests MUST comply :
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old
- This is a multi family home. Respect the other families and their sleep
- No smoking inside or around the premises. (Guest and visitors MUST comply)
- No parties or reunions, no glitter or anything that will make our space dirty.
- No loud sounds, music,TV
- No EV Charging. Do not extend a power cord from inside the house.
- Quiet hours: 9PM to 8AM
Sound Insulation:
This is a basement studio. You will hear steps from the 1st floor because New England house structures are old and sound travels easily. We have added thick sound insulation in all walls and ceiling to reduce that as much as possible, as a result, 95% of guests are not bothered by the sound. However, you will still hear steps. This is not a bunker.
